Parent and Child Induction Policy

 When a child has been offered a place at Skoolz Out all parents will be invited to attend the Afterschool with their child/ren prior to their initial start date.  When parents arrive at Afterschool they will be introduced to all the staff that will be responsible for the care of their child/ren of whom one will be allocated as their child’s key worker.

Fees Policy

Skoolz Out will provide childcare in accordance with our admissions policy. Failure to follow these requirements could lead to the parent being asked to remove their child from the Afterschool.

Behaviour Management

It is central to the philosophy of the Afterschool that all staff should be very positive at all times towards the children, towards each other and towards the Afterschool.  Any issues or problems arising with children, other members of staff or parents/carers should be discussed in private with the Manager of the Afterschool.

Bullying and Humiliation Policy

Any forms of bullying, whether physical or verbal, will be taken seriously. The victims will always be supported and every effort will be made to find the reason for the aggression/intimidation.

Stay Safe in the Sun Policy

Skoolz Out After School Service recognises how damaging strong sun can be on children’s vulnerable skin and how easily children can get burned playing out in the sunshine. We realise the importance of ‘sun protection’.

Complaints and Compliments

It is important that the Afterschool should run smoothly and that parents/carers and staff work together in a spirit of cooperation in the children’s best interests.
